Fraser Campbell
Biography
Fraser Campbell is a JUNO nominated recording artist and producer from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Fraser’s music is dynamic and creative and his live performances are full of undeniable passion, pounding energy, musical ingenuity and sincere honesty. Stylistically, his electric/rock/dance sounds have been compared to those of David Crowder and Jeremy Riddle, and are consistently pulling audiences out of their seats. In addition, Fraser’s Celtic roots always seem to surface and provide his performances with an organic richness similar to groups like Gungor and Mumford & Sons. “My musical influences are diverse,” says Campbell, “Including everything from Delirious, Jimmy Eat World and DC Talk, to Psalty and Peter, Paul & Mary.
Several significant miles mark Fraser’s musical journey. In 2010, Fraser released his first full-length worship album entitled “We Love You.” Blending electric, edgy pop-anthems with intimate, honest songs of assurance and hope, “We Love You” focuses on God’s love for His children and their love for Him in return. The album has earned glowing reviews and its songs have received strong airplay on Christian radio and satellite stations both nationally and internationally. Fraser’s songs are also being utilized by worship, youth and young adult ministries throughout North America.
In 2012, Fraser was awarded a Covenant Award by the Canadian Gospel Music Association for his work in producing and recording the compilation album, “Worship Victoria”. Fraser brought together worship leaders from Victoria churches to record an album that would both promote unity within the church of Victoria and also raise funds for youth at risk.
Fraser also has the gift/ability to reach and communicate with youth and draw them to new places of freedom in worship. Fraser is highly sought-after by conference organizers and youth ministry leaders across Canada. He has a strong desire to see youth and young adults understand God’s love and experience the amazing gift of worship. These passions have resulted in Fraser becoming very influential and active in efforts to see younger generations going into deeper places of intimacy and relationship with the King.
Along with being an award winning recording artist Fraser is also an award winning producer. He has been nominated multiple times for “Producer of the Year” at the GMA’s and has the honour of producing for artists such as Chelsea Amber, Dana Marie, Stel, Minstrel Martin, Worship Victoria and more.
Although music is a passion that continues to ignite Fraser, above all, his greatest passion is his role as husband and father. “I have the most grace-full and beautiful wife, and the most hilarious and amazing kids,” says Campbell. “I strongly believe that this family keeps my life balanced and my ministry healthy”.
Surrounded by the love of his family and lead by the God he sings to, Fraser continues to make music as he travels across the continent, ministering out of the grace poured out in his own life.
